Blend: 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah.
Vines over 50 years old, situated at an altitude of 35 meters.
Vinification – Élevage
Hand-harvested.
80% destemming.
Maceration period averaging 22 days for Grenache and 30 days for Syrah.
Manual punch-downs and daily pump-overs.
Strict temperature control.
Winemaking methods adapted according to the vintage and tasting results.
Aged in tanks.
Bottled after 18 months, without filtration.
Dégustation
The lesser-known Côtes du Rhône Villages is an ideal all-rounder.
Even for a nice evening meal, it is fruit-forward and less heady than a *cru*.
It pairs equally well with white meats, stuffed vegetables, gratins, and more.
